    Our philosophy is child-centred and nurture-based. All tuition/ teaching is 1-1 so that we can work at the level of the child and at the pace that is right for them. It is usually delivered via Zoom.

  • Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment

    Dyslexia assessments are face to face and carried out in our purpose-built office/ classroom in Pelsall.

    • 2 morning sessions of around 2 hours
    • Session 1- Tests of visual and verbal ability, working memory and phonological processing
    • Session 2- Tests of reading, spelling and writing
    • Detailed report with diagnostic decision and recommendations

  • Consultation

    Consultations are face to face or online meetings of up to 1.5 hours between a parent or teacher and myself as Education Consultant, The aim of these is to explore a child's learning and/ or SEMH needs and identify strategies to help them.

Amazing! Our little man was put on development plan at the end of reception as he was behind. I was lucky enough to have Jenny recommended to me. My son loves going to his sessions and has really made progress . So much so that school has just told me that they are taking him off his plan already as he has caught up to where he needs to be- brilliant-thank you.

Just had our son's school report.... one year ago we had a frustrated, angry boy always in trouble and getting little or no support at school. He desperately struggling and unhappy, convinced he was stupid by a failing school. Roll a year forward and 12 months of having a couple of hours a week with Jenny.

We're now looking at a different child, happier, less angry with his needs recognised! A's and B's on the school report that a year ago saw a boy below their expectations and struggling to keep up. This is great but much more important is we now have a lot less angry far more happy boy coping with a school that has issues. Well done son and thank you so much Jenny!

We have been bringing our son for a couple of months to help him pass a grammar school 11 plus exam. Jenny has really helped him with various things that are not taught in primary school but are required for the 11+ exam. Would recommend Jenny as a private tutor.

If you're after a personal approach to tuition in a warm, friendly and home from home environment then I can highly recommend Jenny. Not only from an academic point of view but she has really helped grow my daughter's confidence which is half the battle when it comes to exams! Also lovely to get feedback after every session which is a difficulty I had when using a classroom based tuition centre due to the high number of parents and students fighting to get a minute with the tutor.
